Norwegian term

kantsteinsvis

Norwegian to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Road construction
In a report on a road construction project:
Kantsteinsvis for nedsenket kantstein skal være 1,5 cm.
I'm thinking it might be the 'drop', but it's only a guess.

curb height

Note from asker:
Hi Leif. Many thanks for your quick response. Curb height makes perfect sense. Maybe my addition of an 's' is what has hampered my search!
Thanks eodd. It is the British English version I will be using.
Peer comment(s):

agree eodd : May I just add that curb is US English and kerb is UK English. Not sure which one you are after.

agree Michael Ellis : Agree, and also agree eodd. But 1.5cm seems very low for a kerb.
