Hi,
This is my sentence
"On expose et on ouvre de manière arciforme l’aponévrose du muscle grand glutéal"
I know that "arciform" exists in english but wanted to know if it was often used. I have also found "arcuate" and "curved"
This is for the US market.
Thanks
Joanna

arciform
Arcuate and arciform are strictly synonymous (which is not the case of curved). It seems that arcuate is slightly more used, but arciform is definitely found when talking of lesions or excisions. It is not rare to find one with the other between brackets. In the absence of strong constraint, I would just keep the original and use arciform.
