Este o expresie cu care nu m-am mai intalnit pana acum si pe care nu am gasit-o nici in Oxford-ul Unabridged. As putea "adapta" - vezi ghici -, dar as prefera sa am o definitie clara de undeva, daca o gasiti. Thanks in advance. Iata contextul (care nu e cine stie ce):

Eu nu cred ca este o expresie, mai degraba o metafora.
Cand iti tii picioarele langa un foc, iti este frig, vrei sa te incalzesti, pentru ca in jur e racoare, frig. Probabil e o metafora care vrea sa sublinieze ca dragostea "le tine de cald" in aceasta lume nebuna celor doi (presupunand ca sunt doi :)) sau ca le mentine o stare de spirit si sufleteasca mai blanda, mai calda si mai toleranta fata de iubit, facandu-i sa treaca mai usor peste greseli, vicisitudini si sa se tolereze reciproc cu bune si rele. Teoretic, asa ar trebui sa fie.
