From a cursory reading of these documents it's seems to be about "granting (additional) shares" to existing shareholders (as compensation for ???)

What is the Award Agreement? The nature of that document, or its definition in the definitions section of the document you have, will point you to the right translation.

"Les termes portant la majuscule qui ne sont pas définis dans ce document annexe commun (« l'Annexe ») ont le sens qui leur est donné dans les règles du [Plan][Régime] global de rémunération incitative 2016 de XPO (le « [Plan] [Régime] » et [la Convention][l'Accord] d'attribution, selon le cas."

L'appellation convient d'autant mieux que vous aurez sûrement le terme "Awards" (attributions) dans le texte.

Compensation Plan + Share Contract ? S'il s'agit d'un dispositif de rémunération/intéressement par distribution d'actions, « convention d'attribution » (d'actions aux salariés) semble convenir. Qu'est-ce qui ne vous satisfait pas ?
