Swedish term

aktielikvidkonto

Swedish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) bank account type
Anyone know what an "aktielikvidkonto" is in (UK) English, please?
Something to do with shares, presumably, but other than that I've no idea.
TIA

UK: share dealing account

The Eng term may well work throughout the UK.

Aktielikvid: literally, proceeds from dealings in BrE shares - buying and selling - and AmE stock disposal.

Example sentence:

Aktielikvidkonto är ett särskilt konto som är anpassat för värdepappersaffärer med de mer frekventa transaktioner det innebär.

Brokerage account

There are may types of 'aktielikvidkonto' and many types of brokerage accounts. They all involve holding liquid assets (cash) and securities for your capital investing.

Compare these two references for a start. But there's a lot of reading on this out there.

Right, I've seen 'share-trading account,' for UK but also brokerage account. My reading is that the Swe variant includes other securities than only shares, which is why I went for brokerage account, since they let you trade a variety of paper
