Spanish term

A partir de + tiempo verbal

Spanish to English Other Human Resources
I have to translate this phrase: A partir del 1 de junio, María pasa a formar parte del equipo de trabajo de...
Tengo dudas en la traducción, no sé si usar Since + date y que tiempo verbal le seguiría, es decir, si poner presente simple, continuo (indicando futuro cercano) o presente perfecto. O si debo usar From + date + lo mismo. ¿Me ayudarían por favor?

As of + verb tense

I've just noticed that Tom mentioned this in his suggestion. But I'm going to go-ahead and post it anyway, as it's my preferred term for this kind of thing:

"As of June 1, Maria becomes/will become part of the X team "

--------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------

And, in the query sentence provided, we can use either the simple present tense to denote something scheduled to occur in the near future, or the future expression with will. In the case in point, I tend to prefer the simple present (As of June 1, Maria becomes part of the X team...)
Example sentence:

As of June 1, all personal and commercial vehicles....

Residents can seek rental aid as of June 1.

From + date or other time expression

In this context, "From June 1,..." would be preferred to a phrase with "since." However, other possibilities could include "As of June 1,..." or "Starting June 1,..." - all depending on context & register.
