Shield a plusieurs traductions. On parle de "visible", donc l'écran est le plus pertinent.

Si c'est le dernier, cela réfère dans l'exemple le plus courant habituellement à une plaque de métal (située à l'arrière pour le plus commun) destinée à protéger l'ordinateur et ses composants des phénomènes extérieures.

Dans tous les cas, le terme I/O shield (parfois appelé bouclier IO) est un nom déjà établi que vous trouverez dans beaucoup de manuels de carte mère ou d'autres documents informatiques, à mon sens qui ne nécessite pas d'être traduit.
