the control system (1000) is configured, upon input from a passenger of the airplane passenger seat, to cause actuation of the airplane passenger seat to one of at least three default positions, wherein the at least three default positions comprise an upright position, a lie-flat position, and an in-bed lounge position, wherein the in-bed lounge position is characterized by a lie-flat lower body position and a raised upper body position.
