Here's a few photos of an Autocar half cab mixer that visited Jerkens Truck & Equipment at their Medford, NY location in about 1997. It's the only one I had ever personally seen. This 6X6 was getting pretty rough, and I'd guess it was about 10 years old. Maybe someone else can put a model and year to it.

It had been recently rehabilitated by his guys, then sent to us to fix-up the electrical system. It was still running a 12/24 volt positive ground system when it arrived at our shop,

The answer is pretty simple: semi-truck or semi is actually short for semi-trailer truck. The “semi” part of the title has nothing to do with the size of the big rig, but everything to do with what the tractor is pulling behind it.

Medio semi looks like the cab of separte semi, tractor, driving wheels are on the Cabecoe, tadpole, trailer attached, medio semi pt looks like cabacoe but is one piece, so a full cab semi cab, ((( I Am Wrong with my previous answer)))
Talking about the full semi, which adj is describing which noun, English nouns and adjectives are confusing, so it seem WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A FULL SIZED SEM, AND TALKING ABOUT A REGULAR FULL SIZED CAB. Like the old son, uma maoa confusao, it gets confusing, esp if thiis has been bounced around language to language.
