Does this refer to Judgement Day?
I'm working on a Syrian text which talks about how people were preparing to risk their lives when emigrating to Europe.
كيوم الحشر اجتمع الناس في حدائق مدينة إزمير وعلى الأرصفة وفي الشوارع يحملون حقائب سوداء توحي للناظر بظلمة الأيام التي دفعت بهم أن يحملوا وطنهم فوق ظهورهم
ويمضوا.
