The write-up I’m translating is about the design of a company’s future R&D building. The interior’s split up into four ‘zones’, spaces for different uses, and one of them is
• Zone Diffusion & Médiation (lab, salle de conférences, coworking...).
'Lab' here isn't referring to a science lab, as that's 'labos' in the last zone: Zone Expérimentation & Test (labos, fablab...).
For context, the third area is
• Zone Réflexion & Projets (incubateur, plateau évènementiel, salles de réunion...).

Yes, understood. I asked the client though, and was told both are for experimentation.
The Diffusion & Médiation Zone, containing labs (multipurpose spaces for innovation and experimentation), conference rooms, and coworking spaces.

The idea being that they're spaces where exciting, innovative things happen.
I thought Interaction Zone, but that could apply to "plateau évènementiel, salles de réunion" too.
Are you sure they even need translating? What is the copy for? Could you leave them in French, for an exotic, Gallic touch?
