Histology - bladder biopsy
The following appears in the microscopic description section of a pathology report for a bladder biopsy:
Los cortes histológicos muestran pared vesical que exhibe una proliferación de células atípicas con marcado pleomorfismo, de núcleos hipercromáticos con cromatina granular y laxa, la misma presenta amoldamiento nuclear y marcado atriccionamiento.
Can anyone advise me what "atriccionamiento" is intended to indicate here?

Therefore "Crushing" should be avoided.

El término correcto es atrición. Quiere decir aplastamiento, desgaste natural y escoriación superficial. Se puede referir a los tejidos blandos de las encías o a las piezas dentarias. El término se usa en odontología. Traumas causados por aplastamiento o por oclusión de los maxilares. Raspones.
