German term

TD

German to English Medical Medical: Health Care Name Codes
"CA / OA / FA / AA
TD / ÜS / SD / ND / BD / RD"

This is part of a huuuge medical form that contains innumerable cryptic acronyms with little or no context. In this case, we get a hint from the heading "Name Codes", so I've been able to figure out that CA = Chefarzt, OA = Oberarzt, FA = FAcharzt, and AA = Assistent Arzt, but I have no idea about the next line. Maybe the D in all those stands for Doktor, but it seems odd to me that they would use Arzt and Doktor in the same doc or if Doktor refers more to a PhD than a medical professional why there would be so many of them on this medical form. Anyway, I'm rather looking for a good reference for acronyms like this, which is why I've included them all here (also to give context). Thanks in advance for any help.

Discussion

Bourth Jul 15, 2022:
??? RD Rettungsdienst
BD Bereitschaftsdienst
ND Notdienst
SD Sozialdienst
TD Technischer Dienst [???] [https://www.gesundheitnord.de/fileadmin/daten/geno_pdf/Perso...]
Marga Shaw Jul 15, 2022:
Perhaps: SaSoFeiert. = Samstag, Sonntag, Feiertag
OP/Funktionsbereich = Operationssaal/Funktionsbereich
AN Ambullanz = Anlaufstelle (?) Ambulanz (Ouptpatients)
Barbara L Pavlik (asker) Jul 15, 2022:
Some of the same acronyms also appear in a slightly different configuration under the heading of Prämedikation: Here we get a few more hints: "Dauer (min)/Dienstart/Ort
5 /10 / 20 / 30 / 40
TS / SD /BD
ÜS / ND / RD / SaSoFeiert. "

and then off to the side in the same table:
AN - Ambulanz
Station
OP/Funktionsbereich

This last set is clearly the Ort, and the set of numbers the Dauer, which leaves the rest under the heading of Dienstart, I guess.

Tagdienst

Given your second example
TS / SD /BD
ÜS / ND / RD / SaSoFeiert
this might be a possibility.

TS Tagdienst
SD Spätdienst
BD Bereitschaftsdienst
ÜS Überstunden
ND Nachtdienst
RD Rufdienst
SaSoFeiert Samstag Sonntag Feiertag (Wochenend- und Feiertagsdienst)

Thanks, writeaway (although I've just realised that Barbara has actually put TS rather than TD in the second example)

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Alison, I also considered that RD might be Rettungsdienst, but since there was no way to know, I left a note for the proofreader, and they will sort it out."

Note from asker:
Thanks Jose. These were also good suggestions. Because there was so little context, and the abbreviations also seemed to be used in different contexts, it's impossible to know which ones were right, but hopefully having all these options in the kudoz database will help someone in the future.
