Swahili term

nikamuudumie

Swahili to English Other Linguistics Colloquial Swahili
Hi
I think that must be very colloquial, a friend of mine wrote it to me, asking me to wait for something to happen, as it seems.
"Ngoja nikamuudumie mteja nita ludi badae."
But my difficulties focus on nikamuudumie. Please could you write it in standard Swahili as well as translating it?
Many thanks
Simon

A new development? Just a thought - could this even be a new development in Swahili?
The -ka- tense is normally a past tense, isn't it? But this seems to be the subjunctive with -ka-.
By subjunctive I mean verbs ending in -e, e.g. nisome, sorry if my terminology is a bit antiquated.

NIKAMUHUDUMIE

A correct sentence should read this way: "Ngoja nikamuhudumie mteja nitarudi baadae"
and the translation would be:
Let me attend the customer and I will be back later.

nikamuhudumie

The correct word should be “nikamuhudumie”resulting from the root word “huduma” which means a service.
Example sentence:

Nilimwambia anisubiri ili nikamuhudumie mteja aliyekuwa mbele kwenye foleni.
