Las funciones que se enumeran son muy específicas, por lo que dudo que se trate de un suplente o un auxliar. Veo sumamente enrevesado que usen spareman para designar un suplemente, máxime cuando principal y suplente se denotan con 1st y 2nd.

¿Carolina, podrías mirar si hay un texto que introduce la lista? Por ejemplo, "los siguientes operarios? Te lo pregunto, porque en muchos casos se hace referencia a los equipos, por lo que operario, como frase introductoria a la lista, sería lo normal.
