PNN hypergranuleux +
Hello,
The term 'PNN hypergranuleux +' occurs in a complete blood count/blood test report I am translating.
Paragraph:
Morphologie des globules blancs PNN hypergranuleux +.
Formule contrôlée au microscope par un technicien de laboratoire
The term describes the morphology of the patient's white blood cells. My understanding of the term is 'Hypergranular neutrophils' but I don't undertand the meaning of '+.' Please could somebody advise?
Thank you.

hypergranular segmented neutrophils present
"+" means just presence or, in some contexts, presence in a _small_ quantity (and then "++" would mean moderate and "+++" would mean large)

Anton, thanks. It doesn't seem right to say 'positive for...' and the quoted information is not available on the website provided. |

: it's not incorrect, but doesn't look right: "positive for something" usually implies a yes/no test. I haven't really seen it used with measurable/countable parameters, and here we are dealing with cell count.
