"X" is the only company that imports industrial products
The verb "dedicarse a" in Spanish is usually eliminated in this type of a situation. Once it is eliminated, the best strategy is to change the noun "la importación" into a verb "that imports". Nouns are the basis for writing in Spanish, whereas verbs are the basis for writing in English. If the verb "dedicarse a" is translated as "is engaged in", the translation is correct, but then the noun "la importación" can not be converted into a verb. The key to the whole thing is to eliminate "que se dedica a" so that you can convert "la importación" into a verb.
Check Tom West's dictionary and look up "dedicarse a algo", and you will find that he recommends eliminating it. Also note that his example follows the same pattern explained above. His example is: "Una compañía que se dedica a la venta de computadoras" is translated as "a company that sells computers". Hope this helps.
