How about this one? True, not many will understand it, but I think it sounds great!
Dictionary definitions: Loquacious = Very talkative
Laconic = Using or marked by the use of few words; terse or concise
If you want something for the more common man, you can use "the chatterbox and the man of few words"

: I was just clicking to suggest "The chatterbox and the laconic" when I saw your answer! I'm not sure about your use of "laconist" (as opposed to "laconic") though. There are a few (21) search results on Google for it, but they are not very convincing.
