Spanish term

herramentar/herramental

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Manufacturing tool and die
THis is part of a series of commincations regarding purchase orders for an automotive parts supplier. I know this has to do with preparing to make casts for bushings. I suspect the translation is tooling, but I'd like someone to confirm or dispute this.

tooling

You're right, herramental is tooling. Can you give us an example of how herramentar is used?

I'd say you're right.

agree lalinded : I also agree with this; herramentar actually sounds to me like a way-too-literal translation from English to Spanish...; and re-herramentar would be re-tooling
