The following excerpt is taken from a DVD bonus audio commentary where image restoration techniques are being discussed.
"This is a shot from a British dupe negative and it had a very bad tear in it here. The British dupe negative quality
isn't very good because it's many generations
down from the original."
I really can't find anything anywhere, I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

DUPE NEGATIVE: A duplicate negative, made from a master positive by printing and development or from an original negative by printing followed by reversal development.

Some information to help find the Arabic translation:
This site indicates that dupe negatives is short for "duplicate negatives" www.afc.gov.au/downloads/policies/fu sub_final.pdf
And this site defines duplicate negative as: duplicate negative
A negative reproduced from a negative or diapositive."
(Sorry Ziad, my @#@$#@# wireless mouse has stopped working! I can't move back to the site I am quoting to get the link!! I hope the info was useful anyway!

A more detailed explanation:
DUPLICATE (DUPE) NEGATIVE
A negative film produced by printing from a positive. It is used to produce prints. These prints are duplicates of prints that might be made from the original negative. A negative, usually struck from a fine grain positive print, generally used to make multiple reproductions of prints. A dupe negative preserves the original negative from damage during the process of creating more prints. A "composite duplicate negative" carries both image and sound in synchronization.
