An equipment fault which inhibits or delays actions to achieve a safe operational state should a demand occur. The fail-to-danger fault has a direct and detrimental effect on safety (CCPS). : Vreţi să spuneţi că a greşit askerul definiţia? Pentru că în definiţia dată, eu văd termenul fault de trei ori. E un progres, dacă recunoaşteţi că poate fi şi defect. Chiar şi failure, dealtfel, înseamnă eşec, incapacitate, şi nu defecţiune.

Definitia e corecta. E vorba de o defectiune-care impiedica mecanismele de siguranta sa functioneze. sau un defect care poate cauza o asemenea defectiune. Vezi si glosarul citat mai sus. "component or system failure"

: si cum traduci "critical fault"? E acelasi lucru? Definitia e corecta. E vorba de o defectiune-care impiedica mecanismele de siguranta sa functioneze. sau un defect care poate cauza o asemenea defectiune.

Dicţionar: fault = defect: an imperfection in an object or machine. Ce anume nu am înţeles? E un defect critic cu implicaţii directe asupra componentei de securitate. Definiţia defectelor critice îl include, după părerea mea.
