Помогите, пожалуйста, найти термин в данном контексте. По-моему, перевод мультитрановский перевод clutch rod как "тяга привода сцепления или тяга управления муфтой" здесь не подходит.
"One side will have the 3/8'' coupling nut threaded fully onto the 3/8" clutch rod. Butt the other 3/8'' clutch rod against the 3/8'' rod with a coupling nut. Thread the nut onto the next 3/8" clutch rod while keeping the rods butted together. Be sure the threaded rod is inserted as far as possible"

Enote Mar 31, 2011: ну тогда все же тяга/шпилька/стержень муфты. connecting я там не вижу. Но там могут быть две шпильки - одна на самой муфте, а вторая к первой подсоединяется гайкой

Потом clutch еще встречается в "when clutch is engaged the top gearbox should move as the bottom gearbox shaft moves. (When the clutch is disengaged, the top gearbox shouldn't move as the bottom gearbox shaft moves. If the clutch won't disengage tighten the threads on all the rods.
