Unfortunately there´s no such a thing in the Anglo-Saxon labour legislature. In my opinion, this is a good approximation.

Q. What if I received vacation, dismissal or separation pay from my last employer?

Receipt of vacation, holiday or sick pay--You are not eligible to receive unemployment insurance benefits for any week in which allocated vacation, holiday or sick pay exceeds your weekly benefit amount. If the payments are less than your weekly benefit amount, they will be deducted as earnings. You must report vacation, holiday or sick pay when you file your initial claim. If you receive any such payments after your file your initial claim, you should immediately notify a claims agent.

Receipt of dismissal or separation payments--In most cases, dismissal or separation payments are considered payments for past services and are not allocated to any period after your last day of work. Dismissal payments may include, but are not limited to, wages in lieu of notice and severance payments.
