Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Context is a (public procurement) framework agreement.
16.2 Retenue de garantie
Il est appliqué à chacun des montants dus au Titulaire une retenue de garantie au taux de cinq (5) %.
A l’issue de la durée de garantie contractuelle, la Comptabilité fournisseurs adresse un état des retenues de garantie arrivées à échéance pour validation avant levée.
Cette retenue de garantie peut être payée au Titulaire à la réception des prestations contre remise d’une caution personnelle et solidaire ***libérable sur main levée*** de la société (company name) à l’expiration du délai de garantie.
So tentatively I have this:
"This holdback may be paid to the Prime Contractor upon acceptance of the services against a joint and several security deposit ***which may be released upon discharge (?)*** by (Company name) at the expiration of the warranty period.
