French term
affectation réelle
French to English
Law/Patents
Ships, Sailing, Maritime
maritime law
Hello, here I am again. Thanks for any help you can give.
Again, this is about the Maritime Law Treaty, specifically the Code of Commerce.
I keep meeting the French word "affectation" in all kinds of ways and I know that it can mean either allocation or assigment; but in the following phrase has me really stumped!
What would this version of the word mean??
"Elle s'accorde avec l'idee d'affectation reelle." - it has to do with French domestic law....
Thanks again,
Hkariv
