"th" is often used to denote the Hebrew letter "tav" - ת - in which case the word would be lamet, spelled למת in Hebrew.

La - to the or for the
met - deceased (person)

what is the context?

I don't understand how to read that word. What is the "th" at the end of the word?

agree Joshua Rosenstein : maybe she means lamed and is useing the th for a dalet- in that case it would mean teach-command form
