Could it be an abbreviated form of "usque" ("all the way to/from")? The semicolon would then be an OCR error for a dot.
Something like "usque in ha[n]c diem".

agree Joseph Brazauskas : 'S' is often an orthgraphical variant for 'f', and vice versa, in texts predating the mid 20th cent.
