@Douglass regardless of airport or park, I was just using the armrests as an example. .....you can leave a split or put an iron armrest. see example :http://vsbrian.com/2014/06/10/war-on-homeless/
Douglas Bissell Jul 7, 2014:
I think they must be park/street benches as most airports are so pananoid about security I doubt they would let homeless people in the doors, much less sleep there. Homelessness must not be considered a crime, anyone can lose everything in net to nothing. Help the homeless, a packet of milk, a sabdwich is all it takes to make someone's life much better today
Verginia Ophof Jul 7, 2014:
divididos separated with armrests as at airports or split benches ?

benches divided by armrests prevent the homeless from sleeping there

But this war on homeless people’s ability to sleep has many fronts. It is an everyday occurrence, not just confined to building walls and spikes. Perhaps the most visible of these fronts are public benches. You’ve seen them – the benches on sidewalks and in parks that these days have convenient armrests down the middle. Like so:

... the split benches stop homeless people from sleeping on them...

Why not put spikes on them like they did in some shop entrance in Britain? Or illegalise begging like in Scandanavia.

Or try to help those who have fallen on such hard times that they don't have roof over their heads.
