Hello, I have a text talking about building a solar power generation plant and they are talking about the network and generators, mentioning giving priority to certain generators during "el plazo en el que ***concurran varias instalaciones*** en condiciones de celebrar el Contrato Técnico de Acceso."
I am a bit stuck. What does "concurran" mean here? I had always thought of it as combine.
Does anybody have an idea?

the time/period that several installations connect
"Cocurrir" is used as "to join" is this case, which doesn't really sound right in the translation. As the way of joining would be to connect, I opted for this verb in the translation.

Indeed I think that that when several installations (are in a position to) connect, this will be applied. It seems logical as well, the use of renewable energy should have priority for environmental and financial reasons.

: That's how I interpret it. While the upgrades are being made, both the old generators and the new renewable energy generators may be available for a period of time. Eventually the old ones may be decommissioned.
