Me falta más información pero ss es silisilet, que no sé de qué origen es, pero se traduce por a saber. A continuación debe seguir (en este caso) alguna ocupación. En inglés lo he visto SS: y el texto que sigue. Si por ejemplo dijera s.s. doctor en medicina, traduciría: SS) MD.
