Spanish term

Polipasto factorial

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering
In a secondary school technology textbook. It divides block and tackle systems into two types, 'factorial' and 'potencial'.

Explanation of what it refers to here:

Thank you in advance.

Reference:

Aparejo factorial
Está compuesto por n poleas fijas (y fijas entre sí en una misma armadura) y n poleas móviles (también fijas entre sí en otra armadura).

I've only been able to find 'Compound pulley system with the same number of fixed and moveable pulleys', though you would need to add 'vertical'. You could try 'Vertical compond pulley system' or 'Second order vertical pulley system'.
Note from asker:
Thank you for these references, Helena. I think you're absolutely right about the number and layout of the pulleys. We just don't seem to have neat names for these two types of systems in English. Thanks again!
