Maybe I'm just getting tired, but I can't seem to work this out. I've worked out that Liga de Motociclismo is League of Motorcyclists and that Endurocross is a sort of hybrid motorcycle competition, so now I'm left with "Tolima la Valida," and Tolima is definitely the name of the administrative district or department in Colombia that the project is set in, but I can't figure out if the "la Valida" part is attached to Tolima, as in part of a place name, or if it has something to do with the endurocross.

I've just come across 'heat' which takes care of the meaning of 'válido'. And I've left 'league', although personally I prefer 'championship'.
Taddy Blazusiak turned the fastest lap in the afternoon hot laps to earn first gate pick in his heat. He was placed in the third heat where he took the holeshot and led every lap to easily transfer into the main event. His teammate, Factory FMF/KTM rider Mike Brown, finished 2nd in his heat to also earn a top gate pick in the first main event.

Taddy was on fire all day. Earlier on in MVP Racing’s Hot Laps, he jumped the five logs in front of the finish line to set the fastest lap and bag himself the pick of the gates in the race heats. He then destroyed the field in this heat, leading all six laps.

It should be 'válida'. I think it refers to a specific race or stage in the league. I haven't posted my suggestion as an answer because I can't think of a suitable word.

: You're right, and you should post an answer. "Round" is the word, I'm sure; see e.g. http://tinyurl.com/cvyjct7 . In English "Endurocross" is normally one word. A further suggestion: "la" is probably "1ª" (primera).

Thanks. I'll take your advice and post an answer because a) I'm feel sure it has to be this, although I can't find a reference I like and b) no one has posted an answer!

Discussion
It is used in soccer contexts, maybe it fits for motorcycling as well.
