Construction labor in Sweden is mostly paid according to piece-work tariffs. The performed work is measured at certain intervals (a couple of months). Between the measurements, the laborers are paid a fixed hourly wage. When the measurement is done, the difference between the measured performed work and the wages already paid is paid to the laborers as a "piece-work supplement".
