Swedish term

Valdagssaldo uppnådd belgr.

Swedish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
It's part of a bank statement for an "eKapital" account. It's on a table under the heading "Ränteberäkningssätt" ("Interest calculation method"). I can't figure it out, and there are no clues online. "Valdagssaldo" gets zero hits on Google, and "valdag" translates to "election day" or "polling day", "saldo" is "balance", but I can't figure out how to make that make sense in context. The abbreviation "belgr." is completely opaque, the only word that even seems to fit is the word for "Belgrade" (which again, makes no sense in context).

Agree with Heather

Yeah, abbreviations on forms = translators' nemesis!
David Young (asker) Nov 1, 2023:
Aha! You are perfectly correct, I think. It *does* say "valutadagssaldo"... it's just abbreviated :) I don't know why that wasn't obvious to me when you first suggested it, it just took me a minute to realize that it's an abbreviation, there's no indication of it.
David Young (asker) Nov 1, 2023:
See, now that would make *so* much more sense. But they really do say "valdagssaldo" (and it gets repeated twice). It's the only thing left of this translation, so if it gets too close to the deadline, I might almost pretend like it said "valutadagssaldo" after all. To be honest, this particular phrase isn't necessarily crucial to the meaning of the entire translation, I'd just like to figure out the actual right answer if I possibly can. I could possibly go with "Available balance reached amount limit." Or even just "Balance reached amount limit." Actually, looking at the specific context, that might make real sense...
David Young (asker) Nov 1, 2023:
@Heather: That makes a lot of sense, and I think the ultimate meaning is something along those lines, I'm just trying to figure out precisely how to put it.
Heather Howey Nov 1, 2023:
Could it be referring to the balance on a date when investment vehicles were selected? (Just a guess in case it helps)
David Young (asker) Nov 1, 2023:
I think "belgr." is "beloppsgräns." Still having problems with this phrase, "valdagssaldo" remains unclear.

Proposed translations

13 hrs
Swedish term (edited): valdagssaldo uppnådd belgr. -> på valutadagssaldo uppnådd belöppgräns
Selected

cap reached val.-date bal. -> cap reached by the balance on the value-date

Extrapolating from the worthy discussion entries, I do verily think it is time (even for someone who has worked in Swedish banking) to start the ball rolling by posting an answer (un-)abbreviated, depending on the space available for the entry.
