German term

Sinnes- und Mentaltraining

German to English Science Psychology
Offered as a service in a hotel spa (feel-good treatments, massages, fitness instruction etc)
Sensory and cognitive training?
Or is the term "mental training" OK?

Discussion

TonyTK Sep 15, 2010:
It's all very strange ... If you Google your phrase, all the hits are for the same hotel spa. If you then visit the hotel spa website, there's no mention of this service. Anything with "mental skills" sounds way OTT IMO. They might just have a couple of mind machines in the corner of the gym. If I was doing this, I'd phone the hotel and ask exactly what this service consists of.

sensory awareness and mental skills training/coaching

To be "training" doesn't sound quite right for a hotel spa, where you go mainly to feel good rather than do anything overly serious - coaching sounds a little bit more personal and "softer".

senses and mental power developing course

I think, that this term describes the meaning of Sinnes-und Mentaltraining in current context, because the training I suppose is intended to develop sensory perception and mental capacity.

Mental training

You see coaches offering mental training to improve spiritual and mental strength, so 'mental training' is probably sufficient.
