Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (2): B D Finch, Tony M

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Jenni Lukac (X) Aug 10, 2011:
That would fall under general assistant, wouldn't it? From the extra information you've provided, I suggest something like "event assistant" or "events coordinator assistant". If you Google both you'll find a list of duties to compare with the duties carried out by the person in question. Hope this helps!
Jolo (asker) Aug 10, 2011:
In this document there is no more explanation of that job, but the client said that she was helping the manager during parties, wedding receptions. Her duties were not connected with office work, no typing, just helping around.

administration / administrative duites

Often, in fact, a bit of a euphemism for general secretarial / office duties, but does of course all depend on the specific company.

That's what I mean: 'admin' is often a euphemism for 'general tasks' (albeit usually associated with at least some degree of office work, like answering a phone, taking bookings, etc.)

Oops, sorry, I've only just spotted the typo in my headword answer (how embarrassing!) — I'm sure everyone read it correctly as 'duties' anyway.

administrative positions

That's what it basically means. It would be helpful to have a more specific context.
