64 Female Complicated question. I was born in Kansas, and have lived and worked in the US, Bolivia, Venezuela, and Canada. Currently living and working in Canada. BA and MA in Spanish Literature I have no "job". I am a self-employed translator and also play the organ for local churches. Less than 1 hour/month I visit forums only when I receive an e-mail message about something that has been posted. No recommendations at this time. I participate in forums to gain or lend insight on topics related to translation. I believe that forums are an effective way to exchange information. The information seems to be reliable, since it often is a reflection of the poster's own experience. When I am doing a translation, my time is usually too limited to allow for browsing a forum. I do use the terminology tools, though. I don't think that any changes are needed at this time. It's up to the reader to do fact-checking.
