Having gained a Bachelor of the Arts Honours degree in languages incorporating modules of translating and interpreting, I completed two post-graduate diplomas, one in teaching and the other in Export marketing and business. Equipped with these skills I travelled to Spain, Hungary and Greece where I taught English and worked in the editing suite of an English language Institute publishing company. I worked in France for an Irish Engineering firm as European Export Manager in the air .

Following this, back in Ireland I worked as a sales territory manager for BT and Yell.com. I also worked as business development manager for a training consultancy.

For the past 6 years I have spent my time as a Freelance Translator. I work in 3 language pairs and have translated EU documents, academic work, engineering, finance, IT, tourism, business, marketing...
