Translation - English The Thai Government has declared a state of emergency in Bangkok in an attempt to curb the increasing violence linked with anti-government protests, with the general election two weeks away. The measures, which will come into effect at midnight on Tuesday, will extend to the capital's surrounding areas and will remain in place for 60 days, according to the state-owned broadcaster MCOT.
Under the state of emergency, security forces will be able to detain suspects without charge, set a curfew, disperse public gatherings involving more than five people, and censor the media.
At least nine people have been killed and over 500 wounded since protesters started to occupy government buildings in November.
There has been a surge of violence since 13 January, when protesters began blocking and occupying more than ten of the capital's main thoroughfares, with a series of grenade attacks which have resulted in one death and dozens of injuries.
Translation - English Developing a business marketing strategy is a process that requires research and consideration, and aims to achieve an optimal balance of supply and demand.
This process is part of the overall business strategy.
For a company, the purpose is to increase turnover, market share and customer retention through differentiation, incentives or solvent supply adaptation, thereby improving economies of scale.
In this context, strategic marketing - as an element of marketing strategy - serves to ensure the feasibility of the company's offering in its other main departments (quality control, logistics, information systems management, human resources management).
Marketing strategy often overlaps with business strategy, for example within organisations involving only a limited number of segments (SBUs), in which case it directly drives the optimisation of synergies (or flexibility) within the organisation and the profitability required by the finance department.
In fact, it often amounts to developing a 'marketing mix' in which the target identified is the customer.
