Bio
My name is Daniel Metz, and I work full-time as a translator, editor, and copywriter at Boğaziçi Translation Bureau in Istanbul, Turkey. I started professionally translating from Turkish-English and English-Turkish as a freelancer in Fall of 2015 while I was living and taking intensive Turkish language courses at Ankara University in Ankara, Turkey. I have worked with Turkish language, translation, and reporting/writing since January 2014. I am a dedicated, hardworking individual who refuses to submit work late or subpar. Having a background in journalism, I am familiar with working on tight and stressful deadlines, something I have integrated into other areas of my life.
