The context here is different. This is not mounting/hanging on the wall or on a stand or anything like that. As I understand it, from the sequence of words "mount and frame" (and from generally researching the context), this is mounting specifically in the sense of preparing a picture for framing, which means attaching it (usually by means of an adhesive) to stiff card or board. For me, "mounting" of photos means a strong smell of glue! - a kind of glue called Cow Gum, which is now obsolete (that's my personal experience). My thinking was on the lines of κόλλημα ...

No, photos are mounted first. You mount them (attach them to a backing) and then frame them. The words usually appear in this order in English: "mount and frame", "mounting and framing". It seems that επικόλληση is sometimes used for "mounting" (as I've indicated in my ref.), but I'm not sure that I've found the best word. You might mount photos on something called "mounting card" or "mountboard" - there are various names of products used for mounting.

Σας συμβουλεύουμε να κορνιζάρετε τις φωτογραφίες σας.

Δεν έχουμε εμείς τη διπλή διατύπωση των Εγγλέζων. Όταν κορνιζάρουμε μια φωτογραφία, πάντα υπάρχει το χαρτόνι ή/και το πασπαρτού που αγοράζουμε μαζί με την κορνίζα. Θα ήταν εντελώς περιττό να πει κανείς «να κολλήσετε τις φωτογραφίες σας σε χαρτόνι» ή «να περάσετε τις φωτογραφίες σας σε πασπαρτού» και να προσθέσει μετά «και να τις κορνιζάρετε».
