| I should have mentioned it in the question. The company only works with shuttle-woven fabrics, so these can't be knitted fabrics. |

Il tessuto, nella sua più semplice definizione, è un intreccio di fili.
Il tessuto di cotone si ottiene mediante l’intreccio di fili disposti gli uni di fianco agli altri su un piano verticale(CATENA o ORDITO), con un filo continuo orizzontale (TRAMA).
