Spanish term
Dias de derecho
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Human Resources
British English preferred
This is an official legal document wherein approval is given to recieve unemployment benefits based on days worked in the Spanish social security system.
In a data table:
Días cotizados: ... Días de derecho: ... Días consumidos: ...
I understand "cotizados" as days that this person has paid into the system. "consumidos" would be days they have used (been paid for) of those "cotizados". What is "de derecho"? If they are days to which they have had a right to use ("consumir"), would cotizado and de derecho not be the same thing?
If it helps, "cotizados" is a large number in the hundreds, "derecho" is a much smalled number in the hundreds, and "consumidos" is null.
