Project Manager and provided technical support to give a realistic assessment of the Nigerian transmission network. The work considered the evaluating the feasibility of exporting a significant amount of power from an open cycle gas turbine plant to the transmission network. The studies analysed the system under normal and abnormal conditions to ascertain the feasibility of evacuating, transmitting and injecting over 800 MW into central Lagos, and any reinforcement that may be required to achieve this. The work also considered detailed modelling of electrical load at lower transmission voltages around the locality of Lagos in order to evaluate fault levels in detail
