Portuguese term

política

Portuguese to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Survey responses
I'm translating a ginormous set of employee comments in response to a company survey. Here I want to be sure what "política" is referring to, as it's key to understanding the statement. Does "politicagem" ('politics') refer to the company, or to the national context? Does "política interna" refer to 'internal policy', or 'in-house politics' (as opposed to national politics)?

Discussion

Muriel Vasconcellos (asker) Oct 16, 2019:
Closing the question I appreciate your responses. However, I had asked about "política" and everyone gave answers for "politicagem".
Mario Freitas Oct 13, 2019:
@ Muriel "Although we do not agree with too much politicking (not to be confused with internal policies)". It does not make a lot of sense in English since there is no confusion between politics and policies. But in Portuguese, it's the same word (política). So you may have to use a footnote to explain this.
Muriel Vasconcellos (asker) Oct 12, 2019:
All From your answers, it's not clear to me whether you are referring to "politicagem" or "política". Note that the text says "apesar de *discordar com muita politicagem*. What is the subject of "discordar"?

https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Política_de_escritório [politicagem]

Hi Muriel,

It's there in my suggestion:

politicagem = office politics

política interna = internal policy
Note from asker:
