English term

In relation to vendor display

Non-PRO English to Spanish Law/Patents Government / Politics Consumer and Worker Protection..
I would like to know the best translation of this phrase from American English into Latin American Spanish.

Colleagues from Spain, feel free to send me your suggestions as well.

It's a translation about a committee on consumer and worker protection. This is for Latin People living in The United States and Americans readers.

Here is the full paragraph for your review:

"""A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of
New York, in relation to vendor display and storage of goods,
and to repeal sections XXXXX and XXXXX of such code,
relating to bookkeeping requirements"""

Preconsidered.

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Period was removed from the sentence. Hi Toni and Beatriz,

I'm writing to let you know that the period was removed from the English sentence by the Proz.com moderator. Thanks for letting me know about this.

yugoslavia (asker) Feb 5:
Period. Hi Miss Beatriz,

Thanks for your help. Do you mean the period after the English word display?

I will ask The Proz.com moderator to remove it.

Hi Yugoslavia Toni is right. Your client wrote the sentence correctly (no full stop after "display"), but we see a full stop after "display" in your question.
yugoslavia (asker) Feb 4:
English phrase written by the client. Hi Toni,

Thanks but this is the way that the client wrote it in that document, we can tell the client about it. I didn't add anything.

Toni Castano Feb 4:
@Yugoslavia Hope you are doing well.
But, hey, your source reads "in relation to vendor display and storage of goods". If you cut the phrase by adding a (wrong) full stop (= "In relation to vendor display."), you are completely changing the meaning of the query.
yugoslavia (asker) Feb 4:
English term. Hi Toni,

I hope you are doing well in Spain. This is the way that the client wrote it in the English document.

Thanks.

P.S. Gracias por tu comprensión.
Toni Castano Feb 4:
@Yugoslavia Tu consulta está mal planteada. No es "in relation to vendor display". [full stop], sino "in relation to display and storage of goods BY vendors" (= in relation to vendor display and storage of goods). Así es como se entiende bien.
