Affinities is perfectly correct if you want it to make sense, and I have given you an alternative. I don't really think your suggestion works very well.

yet... your text implies that the workload of the audit is split between firms accotding to their expertise, more than their interrelations.
So wouldn\'t expertise be what you are looking for here?

I don't like using "relationships" on its own in a business context, sounds weird.
Note that the practices' "affinités" could refer either to:
- bus. relationships with one another
- bus. rel. with clients
