I think that must be one of those technical texts that have too many unnecesary words. In this case, I would use an option just like yours, since I believe the meaning of that phrase is simply that any injured worker will be rescued (that's why "aplicado a", even though I think that is wrong even in Spanish).

That is EXACTLY what's happening in this document. It's so badly written and so wordly, that I'm having a hard time understanding why certain words are included in the sentence. You said it girl!
