I am an experienced interpreter and a translator possessing vast experience in the fields of military affairs, public affairs, teaching both Russian and English languages, translating contracts and documents, interpreting during emergency situations, and facilitating agreements discussions and official meetings, to mention only a part of my track record. After working two years as translator I was promoted to a managing position where I was assessing language skills of newly hired personnel and in charge of over 50 translators. Now I am excited about building a freelancing career.

I was born in a former Soviet country growing up with Russian as my native language, studied in Turkish school, then in a high school in United States, graduated from American University of Central Asia, lived in United States, travelled around Europe, and now I live in United Kingdom. All of this makes me understand different cultures and mentalities, not just simply know the languages. It gives me a great advantage in translation.
