Source text - Czech In 2012 the British Cabinet Office estimated that in the UK alone there were some 70,000 social enterprises working at helping people, communities and the environment. They further stated that these businesses and organisations contributed a staggering £54.9 billion to the economy while employing almost a million people. Unfortunately, as impressive as these numbers might sound, the fact is that they hardly begin to scratch the surface of the problems they are doing their best to address.
Entrepreneurs often struggle to raise seed money for any venture so it is invariably far tougher to get funding for social enterprises than their commercial counterparts - this despite the fact that the financial returns can be just as big or bigger. In the UK alone, for instance, if a start-up team is proposing to launch a social enter¬prise with the potential to radically change the nations £87 billion social-care sector, they clearly should be deserving of a serious listen from those who are in a position to provide substantial funding, as opposed to just a little grant money.
Translation - English Britský Úřad vlády v roce 2012 odhadl, že jen ve Spojeném království existuje 70 000 sociálně zaměřených podniků, které pomáhají lidem, komunitám a životnímu prostředí. Úřad dále zveřejnil, že tyto podniky a organizace přispívají neuvěřitelných 54, 9 miliard liber do státní ekonomie a zaměstnávají téměř milion lidí. Bohužel, přestože se tato čísla zdají působivá, skutečností je, že veškeré úsilí těchto podniků má jen stěží znatelný efekt na problémy, které se snaží vyřešit.
Podnikatelé se často potýkají s problémy získat počáteční kapitál pro jakýkoliv podnik. Financovat sociálně zaměřené podniky je tudíž ještě obtížnější než financovat podniky komerční – a to i přesto, že jejich výsledný zisk může být přinejmenším stejně velký, ne-li větší. Pokud například britský tým navrhuje založit sociálně zaměřený podnik, který může potenciálně zásadně změnit současný sedmaosmdesáti miliardový sektor sociální péče, rozhodně by si zasloužil pozornost těch, kteří jsou schopní takovýto projekt financovat. Místo toho tyto podniky často dostanou jen menší dotaci.

Source text - Czech Množství a jakost dávky se stanoví za přítomnosti zástupce kupujícího i prodávajícího. Jestliže není zástupce prodávajícího přítomen nebo se odmítne stanovení zúčastnit, platí údaje zjištěné kupujícím. Hmotnost zboží se stanovuje elektronickými vahami. Cukernatost a obsah celkových nečistot v dávce se stanoví v surovinové laboratoři závodu ze vzorku odebraného mechanickým vzorkovačem podle schválené metodiky. Interval odběru vzorku stanoví kupující z každé dávky cukrovky, nebo z každého vzorku vybraného elektronickým systémem při vážení dávky na příjmové (brutto) váze. Z dávky cukrovky se mechanickým vzorkovačem odebírá vzorek z náhodně zvoleného místa povozu. Místo odběru vzorku je určeno vzájemnou polohou vozidla a vzorkovače, řidič vozidla je povinen zastavit vozidlo na světelné znamení podle pokynu obsluhy vzorkovače. Délka pojezdu vzorkovače je dána umístěním koncových spínačů na kolejnicích. Vzorkovačem je nutno dosáhnout na dno korby/vleku dopravního prostředku, vzorek musí vážit nejméně 20 kg.
Translation - English The quantity and quality of the batch shall be determined in the presence of a representative of the buyer and the seller. If a representative of the seller is not present or declines to participate in the process of quality and quantity determination, information obtained by the buyer will be considered valid. The weight of the goods is determined by electronic scales. The sugar content and the content of total impurities in the batch shall be determined in a raw material laboratory from a sample retrieved by a mechanical sampler according to approved methodology. The sampling interval shall be set by the buyer to either every sugar beet batch, or to every sample selected by the electronic system during weighing on the incoming (gross) scales. The sugar beet batch is sampled at a random point in the delivery vehicle(s) using a mechanized sampler. The point of sampling is determined by the position of the vehicle in relation to the sampler; the driver is obliged to stop the vehicle based on the light signal sent by the operator of the sampler. The length of the sampler’s travel is determined by the position of the limit switches on the rails. The sampler must be able to reach the bottom of the body/trailer of the vehicle, with the sample weighing at least 20 kg.
